Ed is an Emmy winning writer; a creator, performer, producer and development exec. He is no stranger to talking about himself in the third person.
You may have seen, heard or run into him in the hallways of: The Sopranos, Hot in Cleveland, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Crashing, Just Shoot Me, Ellen, Dr. Katz, Conan, Whose Line is it Anyway, Dancing with The Stars, Win Ben Stein's Money, The MTV Movie and Video Awards, Waiting For Woody, Fired, Antz, a critically acclaimed solo show "I'm Not Perfect" or while hosting radio shows and podcasts in LA, San Francisco, New York and Boston.
Currently Ed works as a creative executive, voice actor, speaker and mental health advocate. He hosts 3 weekly podcasts including The Mental Health Comedy Podcast where comics and entertainers talk about their lives and practice resilience skills. The dripdrop Podcast is a mental fitness variety show for families and The Squirrel News Podcast features solutions news stories and innovators from around the world. He is now writing “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Being Happy” about how funny people deal with real life issues and “Honey I Have No Time To Breathe”, a skills based kid’s book for adults.
Ed has worked with a wide variety of talent across all media; from Judd Apatow and 50 Cent to Ryan Seacrest, Penn & Teller, Brie Larsen, Lily Tomlin, Howie Mandel, Chelsea Handler, Drew Carey, Jimmy Kimmel and so many more.
As VP of Development at Fremantle Media in LA, he founded “The Instant Comedy Project” a production think-tank. The group created and filmed a new pilot every week; selling 6 out ofthe first 8 projects they made.
He is the founder of Rebrando Inc.; a creative service company and Makelight; a media company uniting Mental Health and Comedy.
